Up On Melancholy Hill

Introducing a new favorite dress of mine... This beautiful Free People was definitely... not free... In fact, I'm sure it cost my mother a pretty penny, but thankfully for me it was gift from her. In these photos we were hoping to capture a little bit of a not-so-free free people vibe. I would even go as far as to say that I look quite sad about wearing such a beautiful dress. Count your blessings. One. Two. Three. Four....

Alicia and I have been a little fur obsessed lately.. This amazing fuzzy shirt was actually a Christmas gift from my awesome partner in crime, Alicia! (Shopping for you best friend is basically the same thing as shopping for yourself) So thanks again Alicia for this great gift. (Its from H&M)

Whenever I put on this shirt I transform into a small pink bunny rabbit, I would suggest investing in your own shape shifting shirt so you can do the same and experience it for yourself. Its an entirely different world when you're a small mammal, and I cannot put into words the phenominon of having gigantic floppy ears. Wow. It really makes you appreciate what we have as a human. These photos were taken right before the transformation. Go tell your mother you love her, right now.

Hey, Guess What??

When I first saw this flamboyant fur jacket at the mall my heart broke, birds sang, and tears streamed from my eyes.  I actually fell to the floor and began to weep and shake.  An ambulance was called on account of "shopping till you drop", it was rather embarassing.  I knew I could not afford it with my modest babysitting salary.  So, naturally, as it was around the holiday season, I gave santa a shout out. And after finding it in my mothers closet several weeks before christmas I thanked the shopping Gods.  Now that christmas is over I can finally wear it at my leisure.

Bringing in the new year with some special friends of ours.. This new year will entail a lot of life changing events for Alicia and I.... Committing to a college, graduation, our last summer of high school, and then off to college we go.

We have some really exciting posts that we have coming up! Alicia and I get coffee often and discuss fun things to post about in the future, and I think we have some really cool ideas! 

This upcoming year seems a little bit scary, but I know that it will be one of the best years of my life and I'm blessed to have made it so far already, and spend it with great people.
